Description
If you are drag racing your GTR, you will likely want to switch to 15″ rear wheels at some point. This will allow you to run the 15″ Mickey Thompson slick that most drag racers use.
However, the giant factory brakes will not allow install of a 15″ wheel. We have taken the time to put together a small brake kit to solve this problem. This kit comes with the following items:
- Used rear spindle, backing plate, and emergency brake items. Keep in mind, used parts may show some wear and tear
- New performance brake pads and rotors – Drilled and slotted rotors and carbon fiber ceramic pads. Very quiet and tolerant of extreme conditions
- New/Reman brake calipers and caliper brackets
- New braided stainless steel brake lines
- Required hardware
Don’t forget to add the extended wheel studs if you do not already have them. It is very important to run extended studs, as the stock studs will only grab approximately 3-4 threads with most drag wheels. We sell the extended studs separately.
We also offer Torque Solution adjustable Camber and Toe arms to complete this kit. These are required to get the alignment in spec for maximum tire contact on launch.
