Description
The A90 MKV Toyota Supra equipped with the BMW B58 engine has a very complex crank case ventilation system that works well at factory power levels. However, here at ATR Performance we have found it to cause issues on vehicles with upgraded turbo running high boost. The compressed intake air ends up blowing out the vacuum diaphragm in the OEM valve cover, resulting in an oily smoky mess.
We took it upon ourselves to develop a fix – These three machined pins will press into the cylinder head to effectively block off intake manifold pressure trying to force its way into the crank case. The kit comes with an installation sleeve as well, to insure proper fitment. These pins will not damage the cylinder head, are quick and easy to install, and completely reversible. Once installed, the valve cover will hold them in place. These pins CAN be installed on a valve cover that has already been damaged, no need to buy a new one. Please message us for more specific info.
We HIGHLY recommend you also install an auxiliary oil catch can to vent excessive crank case pressure in addition to this. Keep an eye out for our upcoming oil cap vent adapter…
